After the relentless sunshine and blistering temperatures of the last few weeks, Wednesday sees a change in fortunes as the high pressure we’ve enjoyed is pushed further south.
This will mean the UK being more susceptible to weather fronts in the Atlantic. Temperatures are expected to be back to seasonal averages and by the weekend there is a risk of more widespread and prolonged periods of rain.
Becoming cooler from Wednesday, with sunshine and showers for many.
A risk of hail in the north towards the weekend, and rain in the southwest.
Summer however certainly isn’t over it’s just taking a vacation.
A national newspaper published that August maybe one of the wettest on record. This is way off the mark.
